Chad is a classically trained chef who's spent most of the last decade cooking in some of the better restaurants and private clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
He spends his free time hunting for and learning about mushrooms, with a particular interest in exploring under-appreciated edible species. He loves seeking out new techniques and traditional recipes from all over the world to apply to his local mushrooms. He is currently working on a wild mushroom cookbook to unite his passions.
At the SCMF Wild Mushroom Foray, he'll be preparing wild mushrooms for us to taste, as well as teaching us tips and tricks for using both the familiar prized edible species, as well as lesser-known, more esoteric choices.
